but a lot of the media thinks the solution is replay. I think the solution is better umpires. Joe West and Angel Hernandez would be the first two to go. It's time for MLB to overhaul their umpires and bring in some new ones or do things to hold clowns like Angel Hernandez accountable for their actions publicly when they act like morons.
These umpires are missing calls like last night that they simply shouldn't be missing. There should be no need for routine calls like that.

the way in which these games are called.. Given, some of it is just human error, but this year there have been way too many missed calls for it to be error. I don't really have a favorite MLB team, other than the Marlins (because of low payroll and usual decent competition), but something needs to be done.
Maybe they'll put a HD DVR in the press box for a 5th umpire.** Something the SEC struggled with, even though every DirecTV customer in north america has the same capabilities.
