And State's baseball players were sitting in Cuck Chairs watching Texas take over the MSU practice facility.
Not pointed at you, HoD, but to everyone complaining about this... It is kind of ridiculous to get your panties in a wad over this one. Every school in the nation would let the opposing team use their practice facility during a weather-delayed series. Do y'all realistically expect us to leave another SEC baseball team out in the tornado and say, "F no, you ain't coming inside today boys! Sucks for you, this is war!!!"
If that's really what you thought should happen, you need to grow up. Maybe some of y'all didn't play sports, but as I learned starting about age 5, it is possible to try your hardest to win, really hate losing to the other team, but then shake hands afterward and say "good game". That's why little league teams are forced to do that, to teach respect for the other human beings who happen to play for a rival, but are actually usually decent people who *gasp* you might even like off the field. Hell, my best friend played for Palmer's Big Star and I hated - HATED - losing to them, but they were loaded with talent (mostly because they cheated**) and we lost to them a lot. But he still stayed at my house and played Pitfall on my Atari every Friday night.
I get that everyone is mad we lost. I want State to win every game too, but quit being a *****. Do you think all our players literally hate the opposing team and want them all to die? Or do you think they respect them as ball players and wanted to be accommodating in a situation like this? Jesus people.
