This season is just too much. I haven't seen such a dominate pass rush get so little results. Yes, there's been a couple of sacks, but Golson is constantly running for his life but throws the ball away avoiding the 2nd and 3rd and very long. Not one intentional grounding. It's amazing.

We are not fast which is odd usually when players are able to get that type penetration strength and speed but shows the type speed and talent Gholston has too elude. we are just not fast enough!

Again, Cards defender comes clear to the QB and Golson throws it away just in time. The next play, 1st down. I've never seen anything like it. It's not due to poor tackling by the Cards. Golson just has that knack to get rid of the ball in time to avoid a sack.

FSU fans should be very thankful of the graduate transfer rule because without Golson, they would be having a Oregon type of season.

First hold against the FSU line I believe came late 3rd or early 4th qtr when the game is out of reach. Looks like another hold called against them. Their line can't get a snap count....

Gholson is mediocre - I'll give him credit for being able to get away with intentional grounding and being able to throw the ball 6 yards and then let the receiver do the rest.

Basically a poor man's Tim Couch...

There has been so many holding calls missed this season

I liked when the announcer says something like "yeah, that time his arms just got outside of his body" I thought both teams were evenly match. At least the first half was a good game.

Lot of plays our d backs are trying to tackle "air". Guys are like Neon Deon, only because he was a chicken **** when it came to "contact". Not a good trait for a d-back. Just sayin... Missed tackles lose games!!

Two sacks. That's it. As many times Golson was running for his life he was sacked twice. The Cards were in the FSU backfield all game. It's just another part of this wierd *** season.

No doubt Cook is a beast and the Cards had issues tackling him in the 2nd half. However, it was Golson's ability to avoid big losses in sacks that won the game.

Golson was a really good QB for ND until coach kelly finally convinced him that he wasn't very good. FSU is extremely lucky they got him and he will only improve the longer he is there.

I've heard lots of people making the argument that FSU wouldn't have been any good, but the truth is that we'll never know, as much as some like to speculate. It's like people saying that a missed field goal in the first quarter would have made a one point loss into a two point win. You don't know how everything else would have transpired based off of a singular event being different. Jimbo has shown the ability to adapt his offense to the quarterback and how the team has to play the game. The playbook is as versatile as any in the country with the types of formations, personnel groupings and the sight adjustments that are worked in.

LOL, Hall of Fame DB, Regarded as the best or one of the besr shut down corners in history. Yeah nobody should what to acheive that. Name a coach that wouldn't that type of player on their team?

i had to laugh at that one too. yeah, Deion wasn't a very good player. Dalvin Cook is going to make a lot of db's tackle air at this level and the next. you can't hit what you can't catch.

people seem to forget that he was on top of just about all of the Heisman lists last year AFTER he lost at FSU. he was a great player that was floundering under poor coaching.

Just goes to show what a good coach can do with a player, I have watched Kelly on the sidelines and he seems to be the king of belittling his players, especially in front of a tv audience. Jimbo used to coach that way but then learned how balance the anger with the love for the player and the game of football. He is very adept at formulating his offense around whoever the qb is. Apparently, Bobby Petrino can also do this as Jackson as come a long ways in a very short time. I am not looking forward to the noles having to play against him for the next 2 years.
