UNC has joined Florida State and Clemson for unequal revenue sharing among ACC schools moving forward, claiming the Tar Heels — like the Seminoles and Tigers — deserve more of the pie compared to other league programs. UVA will soon join as well many have said.

FSU currently represents 70% more viewers than the ACC average and Clemson's not far behind. The numbers show that FSU and Clemson represent 51% of all 4.0 million viewership games in the ACC over from 2014 through 2022.

- Story By Brad Crawford.

SOURCE: North Carolina, Florida State, Clemson, and Virginia are all negotiating to join the SEC.

What role will Clemson, Florida State, Miami and UNC play in CFB realignment?

Virginia Tech is a program with tremendous fan support and history, but it has struggled in recent years and doesn’t grant access to a massive TV market. If the ACC does break up, how big the B1G and SEC are willing to get will likely determine whether or not the Hokies have a spot.

(VT story seems similar to WVU. It will depend on how big SEC and Big 10 want to go)

Perhaps smaller programs like Wake Forest and Boston College would be willing to take a smaller piece of the revenue pie in order to keep profit-drivers like Clemson, FSU and Miami in the fold. That sort of arrangement could keep the ACC’s blue bloods competitive financially with the Big Ten and SEC powers.

And for the less-profitable programs, a smaller ACC revenue output would still likely be larger than what they could get negotiating a separate TV deal without the leverage of having premium brands on their side.

One rumor being floated is the creation of a new conference with pods. Taking teams from the ACC, PAC12 and Big12. Anything is possible until it isn’t.

They can all do whatever they want, but all 3 conferences are essentially a feeder for the B1G and SEC. Nothing they come up with will undo the power balance.

Big XII has 12 teams with the departure of Oklahoma and Texas, and will expand to 16 in the near future, with the addition of Arizona, Arizona State, Utah, and Colorado. B1G is getting close to adding Washington and Oregon.

Sounds like a B1G load of cow dung.

Why would Big12 teams give up money to partner with the ACC and PAC who are on the verge of collapse? Not to mention the new grant of rights they have already signed.
May be gefloated, but it's by the desperate teams looking for any out. There is zero chance that could happen.

Another rumor making the rounds is that college football is all about the money and fans are getting sick of it.
