unc has ALWAYS dealt with "handlers." Roy , especially. At this point , it's idiotic for unx fans to claim otherwise anyway. Dealing with handlers is a far cry from the shenanigans they've been gettin' away with for God-knows-how-long. They WISH dealing with handlers was the worst "crime" they've ever been found guilty of. LMAO. JMM ( for example ) was a lottery pick following his freshman season. He either wanted to stay at unx OR someone talked 'im outta leaving. If he wanted to stay , Roy sure didn't try and change his mind ala the quote above. We saw how it turned out. The kid stayed and went undrafted. Lost a nice little chunk of change for returning to unx. Thank you , Roy.

Roy accepts "bonus" $ whenever his players maintain a certain GPA yet claims ignorance when questioned about his knowledge of their academics. If that's doin' things the "right way" then , yeah , I guess he does things the right way. Heck , I'd say it's more like the "carolina way."
