It was called against Javonte Williams in the playoffs his junior year. If the defender is on the ground it's legal. If the defender is on his feet it's a penalty.

Now Wiz, you know you would never have posted this if he was still a Wolfpack commit.:confused::confused::(:(:(

If you can destroy the Rams secondary and linebackers, you can do the same against almost every high school defense.
That's the truth.2 things have happened this season that I would have never thought could happen.
#1 AC Reynolds getting 58 points put on there Defence, The Rockets have had some of the best defences I've ever seen. I'm not positive but , one year when they won the 4a State Championship I believe they set the State record for fewest points allowed in a season . I could be wroung on that. I'm sure someone knows if I'm wrong .
#2 Reidsville giving up over 50 points . I listen to that game , It just blowed my mind how easy, East Surry was beating the Rams deep.ive seen the Rams play the last 3 years and they played great defence ,with lots of speed. East Surry has to be good ,you don't just walk in there and win unless you are damn good.

Is that a penalty now?? Jerome Simpson,( former Reidsville great and the hurdler that jumped over a Cardinal defender a few years ago when he played for the Bengals) used to do that all the time....high school, college and of course pro................................
I did not know Jerome Simpson played at Reidsville..Is he the one that turned a complete flip and landed on his feet in the end zone . I saw that play again on ESPN not long ago. If Gosnell is anywhere close the athlete as Simpson , Carolina got them a player..

Saw this quote from the East Surry coach in the Mt. Airy News about Boaz who passed for 537 yards and 8 TDs against North Stokes Friday:
“If he doesn’t get his shot to play quarterback in college, it’s a shame. He can definitely play on Saturdays, if not on Sundays, as a quarterback. I’ve never seen a quarterback as good as him in person.”

That was one hell of a game.I think besides Gosnell , That East Surry O, line played a great game, seemed like ES, OB had all night to throw. Reidsville offence did also make alot of plays. I don't see nobody in 2a West giving the Rams any trouble .

I thought our front would be able to get pressure on him before the game. That game caused us to make some changes to the line. But this is probably the weakest defensive line we've had that you heritage fans have seen from us. Its some good players on the defensive line, not saying that.

I guess the Wolfpack posters will say he wasn't very good either.

Even a fanbase as delusional as the Pack faithful can see that UNC football is on the rise while their gridiron future gets bleaker. The despair on packpride is glorious to behold!

As long as Tim Brewster’s checks don’t bounce Mack will keep reeling them in. Lol

I get there is understandable excitement with a newish coach, but Mack ain’t reinventing the wheel with NC high school kids. Keep in mind UNC has out recruited State every year over the last 10 with the exception of 2015. This has always been the case. State will manage.

PS.

Nothing makes me feel dumber than arguing over football / basketball recruits. Don’t care if I’m taking to state or Unc fans. Seems so juvenile.

No one knows better than a wolfpack fan how important it is to pay your players...

https://bleacherreport.com/articles...ottfried-directly-connected-to-paying-players

Difference there is Gottfried was desperate to save his job and was fired before any of this was known. Don't change any of your facts but I'm so glad the SOB is gone since he cheated. I hope State ends up sueing him for doing that. You can tell State don't do that regular. Hell we cant even cheat and win like Carolina.
