I sat with an App St. fan at the game. He indicated that App has a taraflex floor and was surprised we did not. How is it that App St. can afford this flooring and UNC can’t? Oh, wait a minute. I know.

Unfortunately I am there with you. I thought the SC game was just an off night. Maybe not. I do have to admit having 6’6” at the net is tough to deal with.
You are not having a meltdown. I starting to wonder if the team is having a meltdown Honktonktaras. I thought that when SC beat us that was a bad day. It appears to be that this team is not playing up to their standard. They are playing down against inferior teams, and they gear up when playing tougher teams which indicates a lack of focuss and a lack of mental toughness IMO. The coaching staff must find a way to fix this in a hurry. They might have to use a psychiatrist to do or conduct mental sessons before their games or something by closing their eyes and visualizing the game before they play the game. Some teams have done this and it has worked.
Was not able to watch, but worth noting we are still #27 in computer rankings. Our hopes of hosting are likely vanishing but no reason we can't get a good 2 seed.
I watched the KState game on replay and it was a profoundly up and down match for UNC. Dominant in some sets, completely unable to play in system in others. So many extended periods with an ability to set up and execute a good spike.
KState was generally pretty good at serving and giving us problems, but also gifted us a ton of service errors.
Also Florida just hot swept by Marquette so our best win looks a little less superlative.

Not a great outing against KState. They were a good team, but we should have won that match.
I wouldn't put too much into the Marquette sweeping Florida as a diminish to our win. Marquette played for something much bigger that night as the new Florida coach is their old coach. He left after last season to replace Mary Wise in Gainesville.

Heels go 2-0 on the weekend, beating ncst 3-1. Didn't look sharp dropping the first set, but regrouped and played better.
