Wow, I watched the entire game, it was an awesome all around college game for all 40 mins, not even cause the Tarholes had their hearts ripped out on a last tenth of a second shot, but that sure made it a lot better!! GTHC GTH GTHC GTH!!

I'm not saying they'll lose that many and it's simply because college basketball is weaker. But my statement stands, they are the same 12 loss team from a year ago. Same flaws, same deficiencies that aren't capable of winning a championship. I'll give you 100:1 if you wanna take Carolina?
HOF Coach Roy Williams is gonna have to stop scheduling these away OOC games against these great power house basketball teams. By the way that ball didn't leave the shooters hand until at least a half second after the horn went off. All those looks at the video tape and the refs still didn't get it right. They get beat at least 8 times. UCLA drops them as do we twice, I don't know the acc ached for them but they'll lose to Lville, Miami, UVA, FSU if they play those more than once that is.they won't win the ACC tourney or NCAA so that's two more

With the talent and size they have they should never lose. With the bigs they have they should dominate the boards. The players are good enough and the UNCheat fans aren't the problem because we know they are elite and the cheerleaders are ok. Williams couldn't win with a team like 2010 or even last year. Without the best talent in the country, he can't win. 2005 he had the best talent by a mile. 2009, he had the best talent by a mile. During his tenure at UNC, he's had good enough talent to win another championship, but his lack of ability to adjust to his talent has kept them from that
The past few years unc has beat ranked teams at the start of the season but loses to unranked teams. Seems like a lack of coaching and motivation
THIS^^^. And they don't have the best talent this year. What they DO have is EXPERIENCED talent. The other "blue bloods" are losin' players early every season. Roy has seen to it that doesn't happen in his program. It's the MAIN reason his recruiting is down. The scandal hurts but Roy hurts more. Anyway , unx didn't have the gaudy early-season ranking because they're "scary talented." They've got good talent but they also have upperclassmen and THAT'S why the expectations are so high.
The Holes have what most coaches would love to have. I agree totally they have experienced talent, probably more than anyone and they are deeper than most but they under achieve due to Roy who doesn't seem to get the most out of his teams. They lack the killer instinct again this year so that makes them very unpredictable just like last season
Really was a good game. Texas made so many clutch plays just when it looked like things weren't going to go their way.

I was gonna start a thread with this question but this is a good of place as any. Is Shaka Smart a better coach than HOF Coach Roy Williams? I don't care if it was a road game this Tar Heel team should have won by at least 20. This Tar Heel team is loaded with experience and depth. Something just ain't right whether it's game plan, in game decisions, motivating this team or whatever. HOF Coach Roy Williams over his career has had as much talent as any coach in the business.and he only has 1 NC with the guys he recruited. Within Tar Heel nation one game he's the greatest coach ever and the next they want him replaced. They knock Coach K for any kind of reason they can find or make up but we've got it made guys. It has to be miserable to be a Tar Heel fan and have Coach K as your rival's coach. Grateful to be a Duke fan yesterday, today and forever. OFC
people around the AAU circuit as well as NBA scouts are taking notice of uncs lack of ability to develop people. Paige has regressed from his sophomore year, hicks was a consensus top 15-20 player. Jackson was rated higher than Winslow and Stanley Johnson in some cases.

Same team, new year. They are better cuz it's another year together but this is an 8-10 loss that can't defend the three and outside of Paige, can't shoot the three. Still a bad coach.
Last year you could tell a difference with Duke and Kentucky. By far the best teams with Wisconsin a close third. Carolina is no where near that.

Look man, Show will fight his own battles, I won't do that, but he's a passionate DUKE fan. Not saying you two have to agree but we are ultimately on the same team. He just has his own style as do you.
They aren't comparable to those teams last year, but college ball in general is down. I will say KU is the only team in the same stratosphere as 2014-2015 Duke and UK.
