Not sure what I expected but I am underwhelmed with our portal haul so far. Yes I know we have added a few good pieces and we have a week left but still. No established linemen so far. Definitely some promising players but so far they dont have the production. Hopefully next week we will see much more.

It's not over yet, but not looking good on the OL. On paper so far, we are toast in SEC games again this year. D could be better, but who knows. We're either not a serious program, this staff is not good, or kids just don't want to come to Starkville. Something's up.

I wonder what’s up…. Couldn’t possibly be an incompetent.

The game has passed us by until an established coaching staff is here. My opinion. Lebby may be a good coach one day but he is not currently, and it’s crystal clear. Can’t name five assistants on the staff either. Same ol same ol……..😕

Yeah there a very few 4 star tackles with a year of starting time under their belt available. Of course the ones that are aren't looking to cone here. The big boys snatch them up. Still plenty of time to add more players. I was just reading where it's open all month. I thought it closed the 16th or there abouts but that's just for players to enter.

It’s a combination of that plus in the rev-share era schools are more able to retain their players. Most schools know that constant turnover on the OL is a mistake.

I would’ve rather kept the OL we already had coming back unless we had transfers already locked up. It’s obvious we didn’t. We also didn’t realize it would be the worst OL market yet.

Once again, Lebby creates his own problems.

Imagine a world where MSU had to compete in a recruiting battle where their NIL dollars, facilities, amenities, and coaches were lesser than their peers, and yet, they were expected to beat them.

Lebbro knows he’s done so he is just coasting at this point. We are going to be the laughing stock of college football next year when we promote Arnept to HC for the 2nd time in 3 years.

Remember when I said Lebby’s tempo tax would hit us hard and scare off some portal vet linemen and our experienced linemen?

What’s even worse is I’m kind of wishing we’d kept him.
I don’t think there’s a doubt we should have kept him. I know we got the guy from FSU, but what would make us think we were better off letting any of our young lineman who played a lot leave. I get we didn’t look good, but even if we had had a good OL transfer class committed, we’d still need the depth.

I can’t be the only immature person here who chuckled at “lactic buildup.”

Did anybody expect the Very Dumb, Very Low IQ, Loser Lebby to figure this head coachin thang out? You know, the thing he’s paid handsomely to do? I’m shocked and also underwhelmed at our fans that believe he can survive the next 10 months.
its almost unbelievable you would hire Lebby to follow meathead Arnett, and now bring back Arnett to be the probable interim head coach

I thought the word on the street was Loadholt is not a great coach but he could bring in the talent? Or maybe he's not good at either which would make sense why Lebby hired him

Recruiting simply means money. David Turner could “recruit” the best D line if you gave him enough funding.
