Bruh, I gots the early onset glaucoma, not sure it's that early at 48 but gotta do what the eye doc says. Drops every night; they may help at this point, but we way past that wanna not have to worry about drops in each eye every night. Listen to the doc brother.

Charge your phone, Hoss.

I got glasses last year for the first time at 43. Even got prescription sunglasses. The only time I wear the glasses is when watching TV, usually State sports, and using my phone. Switching back and forth without the lenses makes both blurry as hell.

Needing readers hits you pretty quickly. I've avoided it as long as I could but I think I'm going to have to finally give in.
My last two eye doc appointments Ive been advised on the need for them. I've been fighting it the last few years, but it's time.

48 here. I had to start readers for computer and phone about 6 months ago. Still good for anything more that 3 feet in front of me but closer than that I can't focus on and have to have readers.

I started wearing them at 48 also, I'm 49 now. I bought several pair of cheap ones and just have them everywhere, coffee table, car, a couple at work, a pair in the garage, can't get by without them anymore. My wife will show me something on her phone sometimes and I'm like you know I can't see that.

I'm 58 and started using readers at 48-49, and still using them today. Everything is one big blur up close but still good out past 4 feet or so. I've found out that readers don't do anything for hearing though.

51 is the age I had to get glasses. I’ve worn low level readers for 3-4 years. Around match everything went blurry. Eye dr says my eyesight is probably close to what it was 10 years ago I’m just starting to notice. I call ********. My eyesight was just fine except up close.

My wife was diagnosed in her early 40’s , she’s 58 now. Don’t play around. She’s pretty much lost sight in one eye due to botched surgery. Don’t play around with these local yokels if it progresses beyond drops. UAB in Birmingham has a premier Eye Hospital, it just took us a few years to find them.

Above average, 20/20 or better, my whole life. Until I turned 50. Then I tried to fake it with walmart readers for two years. Then... straight to progressive lenses.

I'm fine, it's fine, everything's fine.

Home Depot has an excellent three pack of readers. Very durable and my personal pick for $3 glasses.

I like the clic readers, but they don’t last long. I’ve had a couple pair. Cord came of both and the magnet pulled out of the housing on other.

It was about bedtime. Sad that we sometimes let battery charge on phone determine bedtime.

At least I know I will never need cheaters.

Because I already have bifocals.

Mine started at around 40. Before that, I'd worn nearsighted glasses since about the 6th grade. 5.25 diopters.

Had cataract surgery last October, and now am 20/20. Can read the car dashboard just fine, but reading a book or the computer requires readers.
