A post from Genespage.

<div class="messagebody">
I was "recruited" to Mississippi State
University by the Accounting Dept.I visited the campus, was treated to
a meal and shown around, spent the night with a friend of a friend in
the athleticdorm.

Following the visit I quickly "committed" to
Mississippi State University. I didn't take any further visits. I
didn't call a news conference with my decision or set a date for some
future announcement.

I don't think I was more mature than the average student is today.

In short, I find it hard to comprehend all this waffling.

Yeah,
I know. I probably wasn't in demand as these kids. I did have some
alumni of various schools encouraging me to go to their school rather
than State, but not "pressure" was put on my family. AND, I certainly
didn't have nay real or perceived financial incentives offered to go to
other schools.

Even considering all that, I still don't understand all the indecision.

Oh well, just 15 more days to go.

congratulated him for choosing "the real school." He has not posted a rebuttal yet, but from the early looks of that thread, it looks to be true.

I assume most rational people just ignored that, but it does provide entertainment for all.
