They will wear each one for a 4 game stretch....the first one is kinda cool with the matte finish....will have the players number on one side and the southern miss logo on the other....the southern miss logo sucks, but the rest is cool.....they will announce the other 2 later in the season

small, poor HS teams wore back in the late 50's, through the early 70's.

It's just another example of how something that we think looks awful... will someday become "the best thing known to man". (May the haircuts and clothes from the 70's NEVER see the light of dayagain.)

I like the matte finish on the black helmets. I especially liked the ones that Oregon wore last year. To me it looks like the paint used on a stealth fighter jet.

While I know all of these uni changes are just to sell more jerseys.......this stuff looks like pure monkey dung. While I hate these teams with a passion, I do respect teams like USC and The Ohio State whose uniforms dont change and dont subscribe to every Nike jersey selling fad that hits the marketplace.....come to think of it, seems like the old school powerhouses never monkey with their uniforms (save that hounds tooth crap Bama pulled last year that caused Bear to roll in his grave).

Brings me to my next point......I believe that we should go to the baseball MS logo instead of the MState banner thing that we have now, and certainly over that Mississippi State logo that is on the back of the SECs largest big screen...that thing looks like something sold in Wal Mart......

the "traditionalists" don't like it, but I love the UGA uniform.. Boise State is another that comes to mind that looks really good.. TCU as well
