I don't have a problem with the gray - I like it actually. I just have a problem with the style of the numbers, like they are tilted. They look like they need to be on the side of Tony Stewart's car or something. (I don't follow NASCAR so I have no idea what number Tony Stewart is). I just really prefer the squared up numbers, block style, with a thin gray outline - but I guess you can't have everything the way you want it.
Overall, I think they are going to look very good. I want to see them on a player before I make a final judgment.

I do think the bulldog looks a little odd, but I mean come on. After the **** I have been looking at under the Croom era (talking about the uniforms in this instance) I was ready for anything new. Son of ***** it feels 17ing good to be excited about MSU football once again. Here we arguing and blowing loads over our new away jersey when we could have been talking about how much Crooms sucks *** and how many games will we loose next year, who's going to boycott going to the games, waiting for inside info from Brad Krayer from the douche on here that post's it, who calls the plays Croom or McCorvey etc...... I will always be grateful for the peeping croom, though.

The jersey looks good and is certainly better than what we've been accustomed to over the last few years. The bulldog head is no more "cartoonish" than the Gator on Florida's jersey or the hog on Arkansas' helmet. It's small and will probably look good in real life. Nothing is going to satisfy everyone.
I guess I'm the other then. I wouldn't say the Croom-era jerseys were my favorite, but I didn't think they were bad. I'm a big fan of the plain look ala Penn State, Bama, Michigan, etc. I don't hate the new ones, but given the choice, I would probably choose the old ones with a few minor changes.
It would be slightly tolerable if it weren't for the numerals. That's about the worst possible style we could have picked, if this is what we will be wearing.
There's a happy medium between the Penn State look we had and this Arena league look.
