Due to overwhelming support they're bringing back the jerseys, but apparently they didn't expect it so they didn't order enough. "Select" games, but I guess this is a good sign that we could potentially have these permanently given enough time to properly order enough.

@HailStateEQ had 5 tweet long response saying how they've received extremely positive feedback so they'll be using them (previously hadn't planned on it) but there isn't a way for them to get any more because of the lead time between Adidas sweatshops and now football season.

Did say they'd be using the helmets.

In other words, we'll keep the old jerseys except for a couple of games and use the new helmets regularly. I can live with that. But I have to wonder why they're just now figuring out that people hate the wide stripe, either on the helmet or the jersey. At least this is the third year of what appears to be a 3-year rotation with Adidas.

Looked great. Glad to hear they've figured out that people like the shoulder stripes going in the traditional direction. I think we've had chill billy and others pitch similar concepts for quite a while now.

Big fat white stripes going laterally provides a look of "slow" and dumbass...need to have forward looking slim stripes. Kotex stripes are good for only one thing.

Yes they wash and re-use jerseys but the guys who play a lot end up wearing out jerseys much faster than you would expect. Typically they will basically have a second set of the every-game jerseys on hand to start a year so that they can replace the ones tattered beyond repair. What HailStateEQ was pointing out was they do not have such a reserve of the new jerseys and so they wouldn't be able to replace jerseys as they wore out so they will be selective with when they use these so that they will not run into that issue.

its kinda odd how surprised they seem. people have been saying ever since these were announced that they are our best jerseys since we left nike. im sure its token surprise, but still...

I've seen several of our jerseys rip and come out fresh and clean in the second half. Specifically receivers and backs who are taken down by the shoulder pads.

We will use them again, but I imagine there's not a huge stock in the closet. So expect Kotex uni's a lot this year.

If we get a prime time game, we better wear them. I'd also like us to go ahead and order for the bowl.

Exactly. MSU folks were the ones who had a right to be surprised that these dip ***** finally came up with some decent unis.

for the record, since HAIL STATE is not allowed, could we do BULLDOGS or is mascot name a no-no? i just dislike the big banner MISSISSIPPI STATE. hail state would have been perfect, but obviously, those are not allowed.
