all these top recruits. I mean, come on...it defies ALL logic. And you can't just chalk it up to "Their just doing a geat job.

I don't know if they are within the rules or not. No idea. But as State fan, we can't just say "Good for them, they're doig a better job. Move on." That's te path to getting wiped out in recruiting every year.

Stars matter. Getting top recuits is what makes you win...period.

i'll comment....and admit we are the beneficiaries of the #1 recruit having a brother on our team (maybe the 6mill we're paying nutt was worth it). his interest PLUS freeze actually pursuing these top kids has gotten them to look at us when honestly without RN i'm not sure they would have. getting them to actually visit and committ has been good recruiting by freeze and co, but the "RN effect" i believe helped tremendously in opening the door.
