All the love in the world for Marin, CL and LC, however let us hear it for

1.Sam Bergen so happy he stayed for his 6th year. Way to find the first down marker!
2. Carlton A. True team player. Never once complained when LC came back from suspension. Stepped in when needed yesterday and made some great catches.
3. Joey Roth. Wow last few games he has come into his own. Turning into a bit of a weapon
4. KFed. Sure he had his blocks and his kicks were line drives but ice in his veins to win it. Have seen many a kicker in college lose a game even from that distance.
5. Andre Patton, finally taking a hold of the 2nd option at WR. I believe he had nearly 100 yes receiving
6. Wharton. Has been playing extremely well for being so inexperienced. Loved being rewarded with a huge pick.
7. Seb. Joseph. Was a one man wrecking machine on the line especially on 3rd and fourth downs

I am sure I am missing a few. Just goes to show what a huge team effort it was!

I'm glad you mentioned Sebastian Joseph. The kid is really coming into his own. His TFL on third down on Indiana's last possession caused them to punt and allowed the last Rutgers drive. Really key play that may have been overlooked in the celebration.

Our young DB's for stepping it up late in the game. After being abused in the first 3 quarters, theymade some key plays that turned the game around with 3 consecutive defensive stops. It would have been easy for them to hang their heads and mail it in, but they stayed focused and made big plays when needed. The future looks bright in our secondary.

Frankly too many names to mention. Was a team effort for sure. Just enough to win. So glad we didn't leave any time on the clock and have to watch us defend a final drive..:fistbump:

Guys are learning. Getting better not worse is a good thing!

Carlton A. stepped up big time when Caroo went down but your statement about him not complaining is not accurate. There was an article this week with him do just that, although I don't blame him because he should be playing with or without Caroo.

Longa was a beast. Best game he has played.
Yep. Guy was very instrumental in turning the game around in the second quarter to help us take the lead at the half. Without him, we go into the half down at least a TD or two.

And then again later in the game although he was obviously in a lot of pain. On at least one play, Kaiwan Lewis had to help him back to his position for the next play - looked like Longa could hardly walk between plays. They he Yoda'd up and went and made another tackle.

16 tackles, 11 of them solo. Some for a loss. And he was in on a sack with one of our CBs. All with an apparent leg injury. Huge game.

Steve Longa made one big stop after another and basically played the second half on one leg. Definitely gets my vote for unsung hero.

Longa, big time, a warrior, play after play clearly hurt. Couldn't have more respect for how he played this game.

James made a touchdown run .
Yep. He did great. Against MSU too and he should've gotten more carries in that game.

But he's not really unsung. Running backs and WRs generally get noticed a lot by announcers and the media in general. Linebackers, O/D linemen, tight-ends doing mostly blocking, fullbacks not so much.
