Josh Heird will be returning to UofL after a stint as Associate AD at Villanova. He previously worked under TJ. He is seen as a real up and coming athletic administrator.

Ordinarily I would think this was good news however then I realized that his hire had to be the result of “another” screwup by Tyra.
And perhaps a sign of AD Tyra’s feeling of security in his position as AD. Perhaps, as others have suggested, that this is maybe the “AD in waiting”. Just a thought.

I know that I haven't posted in awhile, but can anyone tell me why Tyra did this, is he stepping down?
I’ve not seen any indication that AD Tyra is stepping down. Perhaps just making a plan for the future. Maybe he just realized that he needed help in areas that he didn’t feel that his skills were good enough. In any case I’m glad he brought someone back that experienced what was going on under Tom Jurich.

Glad to have him back! Along with the recent donation from the L&N Credit Union, this shows growing support for the direction the athletic department is headed in. Go Cards!
Jeff is experienced, understands the University of Louisville and the community. He now has experience outside of UL and outside of the ACC. I would endorse him for any position in collegiate athletics. The fact that he decided to return to UL is encouraging.

Find me quotes or situations where Robey hammered U of L publicly and for his own personal gain.
