When we play doesn't really matter to me. Maybe playing earlier would allow two regular season meetings at some point down the road.

I always question the motive of the timing of the game and usually it plays into the kitties advantage. What is the roster turnover for UK?

I find it weird that it will be played before the football game.

If this was the Denny Crum era I would be concerned I think CPK will have us ready. It is awful early though I wonder at whose request made the game played this early.

It would probably be to UK's benefit if the game was played several weeks later. That way it would give UK's most coveted NBA prospect Jayden Quaintance more time to get back in basketball shape following his knee surgery. Some mock drafts has Quaintance as a Top-5 pick in the 2026 draft.
