We can not blame this one on Byrne.... We (mainly the GP idiots that were talking **** on the BSU boards) painted Petersen into a corner, where he was forced to address the MSU job before he was ready. All along he wanted to wait until after the BCS selection. While the situation is much less likely now, I am told that "the fat lady has not sung" on Petersen to MSU.
We still have 3 other seriously interested candidates that "everyone would be very happy with". I only know for certain who one of them is though. As I have said since day one, Todd Graham remains the most interested.
