Thanks for all the help in the previous thread. I spent two days going down the rabbit hole of youtube videos, reviews, etc. I finally decided on the Raspberry Pi 3 B+. I know it comes with it's own case in the Canakit, but I saw this one that actually resembles the old console and it was only 10 bucks. Plus the kid likes Legos. I got the shipment Sunday. His birthday isn't until Friday and it's killing me that I have to wait to build it. Wish me luck on the build and the bonding time. Thanks again.
