Ok. So finally got through to customer service person named Sherri. Sherri tells me that secn in whole state of mississippi on comcast is down. I asked when it would be up and she says there is no timetable for repair. You can imagine how out conversation went from there.

I posted in another thread, in getting it on a 32 yr old non digital TV on channel 716 with no cable box in Rankin County but nothing on my new big screen with Comcast box and all the channels and packages, really weird
Comcast is really giving me a Fred Sanford-type "This-is-the-big-one-Elizabeth" moment over this.
If Comcast were a restaurant, this is how it would work:
Me: "Can I get cheese on that?"
Waiter: "Ah ... let me go check."
[Waiter is gone for 30 minutes]
Waiter: "I'm not sure, there might be a problem with the cheese right now, so just go home and we'll send somebody out later to bring you some."
[Waiter shows up at your house 4 days later with a bottle of ketchup]
