Dementia is a difficult disease. My deepest condolences and prayers to you and your family.
I'm sorry for your loss. Words sound hollow and trite now, but I believe those that pass on are in a place with clear thought, no fear, no confusion. Surrounded by love and peace. Hopefully that is the thought that eventually sinks in. Until it does, God's grace and mercy to you and your family.
So sorry for your loss my BBN friend. Praying for The Holy Spirit to comfort you and your family in a way that passing all human understanding.
If your Uncle raised you from the age of 8 then he was more than an Uncle he was a Dad. Having gone through losing my own father recently I sympathize with you. You went above and beyond to take care of him and that tells me everything I need to know about the relationship you guys shared. The pain of losing someone you love so deeply is tough and I pray that your faith will give you the strength to get through this tremendous loss.

Aww Susan, you're the best I appreciate you very much and everyone else here who has given me support throughout these hard times for me and my family. I will take you up on your offer and anybody else who offered support for me just to hear me let go of what's in my heart! I Love the BBN!BWO, I am so sorry for your loss. I know it hurts and there is nothing that can be said to make it better for you. You did what you could and you were there with your love and support. Try to take comfort in that. And know that you are loved...by your family, Jesus and all of us here at BBN, as we are family, too. You've been in my thought and prayers, and I was wondering how things were going. Be sure to take care of yourself during this tough time. Offer still stands if you need to vent, yell, scream or just talk, just let me know. People deal with thinks differently. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask.
TY @Fox2monk yeah our loved ones are no longer suffering. TY for your prayers to my family and Im sending out special prayers to yours as well. Also anyone else in this thread whos suffered loss or having difficult taking care of a sick loved one.

First off, your Uncle (and Aunt) deserve a special place in Heaven for the role they played in your life. In today's me, me, me world they clearly understood that helping others, especially those that need help like our children, is the most important role we play on earth. May God eternally bless them for their sacrifices and love.
Secondly, based on the products of their efforts, I'm gonna say on behalf of the group here ..... your Uncle gets a job well done. We all know the apple doesn't fall fair from the tree.

BWO, so sorry for your loss. Praise GOD you have those wonderful memories of a great Aunt & Uncle who were so loving and cherished you as a son. The most wonderful gift that GOD gave us is Love and he's blessed you with life time memories of that gift through your loved ones and his son Jesus. May your Uncle rest in peace.
