Eric Parker had been turned to a "no" vote because of the language in the ordinance that shortened the distance between schools, churches, etc. and because of the extension of the hours until 2 AM. That probably would have given the "no's" a 4-3 win. He actually told a friend of mine this a week or so ago, so I know it to be true.
Now, they've rewritten the proposed ordinance making it further from schools, churches, etc. and they are not proposing to lengthen the hours until 2 AM. Expect a 4-3 "yes" win come Tuesday night.
