Asheville Citizens Times has posted their unofficial brackets..There is no way this is happening to Robbinsville..
Anyone else notice the rpi's were updated at 10:09 but u can't see the update. I remember someone said on seeding day for volleyball they took em down. Guess they finally rolled out of bed to work on the brackets lol
They did go back to 25-25-25-25 but that's only part of it there are schools in the 2A that have smaller or equal to ADM then some 1A schools looking at the 2019-20 adm numbers they used.
Example Mtn Heritage 614 Eastern Randolph 671, Draughn 630 1A ..Polk county 614 2A I believe I read in their local paper at the time that Polk's 3 year average Wells Fargo cup points was higher then MH was why they moved up, because that counted 25% of your realignment score there other 25% was based on each school’s Identified Student Percentage (ISP). This number is representative of the number of students in each school who are on some form of government assistance, per USDA guidelines. Then 50% from your adm.
Looks like Robbinsville was rewarded for having the hardest 1a schedule. Great draw for making the day after Thanksgiving game.
Yeah I tried on the site been going on and popped up you must sign in ..but I Googled NCHSAA RPI rankings and below the original site was 2021-2022 Final Football RPI.....
The potentially best match up is Mt.Airy vs ER…nobody has even mentioned it…1 vs 2
Robbinsville is 7th in rpi...his link...but will be the 5th seed. Starmount and mountain heritage are not conference winners but have higher rpi than robbinsville. Therefore robbinsville will bump up 2 spots to 5th seed.
No ..well once you get the overall conference champions and highest finishing teams in their classification in a split conference by their RPI seeded then everyone else so like #11 on ranking does = seed

It's not that hard to do bracket list 1 seeds then list everyone else by there rpi's.
Well we talked for weeks about how the split conference teams were seeded if they didn't win overall but was highest finishing team in their class if they were seeded with the overall conference winners I didn't think so but ended up they do and after reading some old articles on pass playoffs that how it's always been.
I don't think anyone is really worried about ER. It's SMC vs Mt Airy right now. The newcomers to 1a will have to earn respect from their play when the going gets tough and we'll have to see how it plays out. The road won't be easy for whoever comes out of the west and they will be no doubt deserving of a championship game.
True you'd think they could have the brackets out soon the RPI is now finalized which means all schools officially have reported their records so I assume the conference standings are now official and any schools who opted out have reported.
Literally everyone but Mount Airy fans think ER is the favorite. Get outta here with that.
