With the construction for the new Franklin High School underway, there will be no games at The Panther Pit for at least this year. Currently, the place where the football stadium once stood is a massive hole in the ground, on par with those massive strip mines in Wyoming (ok, maybe not quite that big). Instead of having ten true road games this year, however, the school announced that it has entered into an agreement with WCU and with Rabun Gap to play home games at their facilities.
