UPig fans are so delightfully delusional about their coaching search

now they are saying Ben Howland from UCLA is in the mix- this one is my favorite so far

They think its going to be Anderson or Buzz at Marquette- but Howland has "been in the mix from the beginning"

Yikes...you're not kidding about them being delusional. I just checked hogville...they have a four page thread about the possibility of Bill Self.

You didn't think it was just a football thing, did you? It is entertaining to see it manifest itself in another sport, though.

It's a pride thing. He wanted the job when they pushed Nolan out, and Nolan pushed for them to hire him. Arkansas wanted no part of him. Now, a decade later, they come calling? I wouldn't be surprised if Anderson told them to pound sand. That's what I'd do.

will depend on his ability to recruit, and have ten quick, and talented players.

I think it is a good hire also, I think UPig just wanted a complete break from NR, when they chunk-ed him.

He won't have to recruit. Pelphrey left them in a perfect situation and was almost one of the best coaches ever in the history of all coaches.

about Pelphrey's top 5 recruiting class- but we would also have to worry about Anderson's recruits to Mizzou asking out of their LOI and following him to UPig
