I am not ready to write Coach Wilson and Co off just yet. I will admit, the A&M, Troy, and Ole Miss games were terrible in almost every way defensively, but I want to see how he responds with the bowl game. The entire coaching staff surely sees that we are not playing the way we should be. The blitzes are slow to develop. We cannot get pressure by the front line. The DB's are almost always out of position. Can anyone on our defensive line bull rush someone? I am not supporting the way we played Saturday in any way, but neither am I calling for someone's head. Our team needs to develop a new scheme/style/attitude during the next month. They need to show me something. Our entire defense needs to get an attitude. Ole Miss has one. Our defense has better playmakers on it. They should act like it.
Same with the offense. The swagger needs to return.
Get creative with Tubby and Perk. Let Morrow get some snaps and some out pattern catches. Get something going, because Bumphis and Smith are easy to cover when its all you can do.
