Upset Special: Does Alcorn State beat USM this weekend?

Alcorn State was 9-3 last season (one of their losses was to us 51-7), and they are 1-0 this season (beat Virginia University at Lynchburg 55-7). Upset in the making?

Those 10 must be Gremblins because there was more then 10 in the stadium Saturday after the rain.

Hard to get a good look from watching on TV, but from what I saw it looked like USM had between 7-10K fans there. I was surprised.

In a MSU/OM/USM pick the record pool I'm in, I picked this as one of USM's projected 3 wins.

USM isn't as bad as they were last year. They should handle Alcorn easily, though not as easily as we handled USM.

Home. They traveled well to Omaha (once every hundred years or so) and to bowls (unless they go over water, apparently)

No, but if they do, Southern should plow up the field and plant corn.
