According to the Charlotte Observer, he decommitted so he can commit at a home football game this fall. They also said he will most likely commit to Gamecocks then.
Pretty ridiculous to say the least
It's a clown show now. And I'm not talking only about this situation.
“South Carolina is still an option and as of right now I don’t have any other schools talking to me. I just want to commit how I had originally planned to, commit during a big home game pep rally, probably the second or third home game.”

This is bizarre. He wants a grand do over later if he comes back (or is allowed to come back).
I guess if we find someone better we'll fill his slot. Why wouldn't we.

I have an amorous analogy I could unleash here, but this just might be a family board.
I don't know why we call them " commitments " we should just call them " As of nows".
Doesn't this kid know we can pull 3*s standing on our collective head?
Even that is too definite. Maybe "overture" is what we've been looking for all the time, or "insinuation".
forget the 3*, we made an offer to Terrance Love (6-3 195) of Fairburn, GA 4* SAFNow now…..you know how hard it is to get a 3* DB.
