And LouisvilleYou can bet one thing for sure Kansas will be involved in some capacity when it comes to cheating.
It was pretty blatant without a doubt. They better check out Dickenson in that tourney game shaving points against Arkansas, not a coincidence that it was his last game. That team wasn’t going anywhere so why not throw the game for one last payout.
I honestly don’t hope we were involved, that’s all we need. People still bring up the 1940’s stuff even though those titles don’t count to them.Sahvir Wheeler
Not sure if Wheeler added or subtracted to our points sitting out with his SEVERE ankle injury!! That could be a FBI investigation!!I honestly don’t hope we were involved, that’s all we need. People still bring up the 1940’s stuff even though those titles don’t count to them.
Now that Rose has passed away watch him get elected posthumously to the HOF.Pete Rose got a lifetime ban. Now the reds are on Fanduel sports. One of the biggest gambling sites. You can’t make this stuff up!!
I think when he died they took him off the banned list. I think in the old days guys were taking upper for energy. Those guys still got in the HOF.Now that Rose has passed away watch him get elected posthumously to the HOF.
He will 100% and he deserved it. He should have been alive to see it.Now that Rose has passed away watch him get elected posthumously to the HOF.
UK @ Georgia last year better put somebody in jail.
I agree but it's probably a moot point since, for a long time now, it's way more lucrative to win games than to throw them. Referees, on the other hand...Actually, legalizing sports wagering will cut down on fixed games. Everything is monitored so closely now, that any unusual betting activity, is immediately red flagged.
Not sure I buy this. Making gambling more widespread encourages more cheating, not less.Actually, legalizing sports wagering will cut down on fixed games. Everything is monitored so closely now, that any unusual betting activity, is immediately red flagged.
Come on, man.I have no doubt he'll be cleared, but if the criteria is a performance so bad by a given player it can't be explained by normal means, they'll have to take a look at Reed Sheppard's game against Oakland.
Anybody bold enough to take Oakland to win straight up in that game made a fortune.
I think with college players getting paid, and the increased scrutiny on unusual betting patterns getting red flagged, it will lessen the fixing of games. Not sure I buy this. Making gambling more widespread encourages more cheating, not less.
All gambling isn’t done in one place. Yes, the individual sites are monitoring for cheating, but does that mean they are necessarily notifying authorities (assuming authorities will act appropriately)?
There is also still plenty of illegal gambling, and millions of reasons for crooks to conceal their nefarious efforts.
I would prefer that you’re right, but I guess I’m cynical on the subject.I think with college players getting paid, and the increased scrutiny on unusual betting patterns getting red flagged, it will lessen the fixing of games.
I think we would be shocked at how many players and refs have gotten away with fixing games for decades. it will still go on, but it will be caught more times than not now. And players that get caught, will get banned, and made examples of to guys that think about doing it.
Just my opinion.
