I haven't seen much talk, if any, on the board about the US Open coming up this week. Don't know about you guys but I'm pretty excited about it. A lot of good story lines; the Tiger-Phil-Bubba grouping, Tiger's resurgence, Bubba's return, and even a 14 year old Chinese kid will be starting in the field...that's right a 14 year old! Not to mention the Olympic course. It's going to be brutal and I read an article today where a USGA member predicted that if a player could make it through the first 6 opening holes around +1 or +2 over par they would be in good shape. I love that, it's going to be a hell of a struggle and great event.

Hopefully, this year's tournament will be more interesting than last years. Rory just dominated last year. I do not like how they do the pairings these days. I understand the purpose, but it makes it difficult for someone to follow a grouping all day. The crowds will be massive for tiger/phil/bubba. I'm excited buy i get excited watching the Mayakoba Classic.
