In. Going on the Friday morning hike to the Hollywood sign.
Jetting cross country as I type. We have 14 going.

so here is the dirt if you are interested in doing this hike. Will be Friday the 25th , same day as the game
anyone interested can literally just show up at trail head, no RSVP , just show up.

its at the very end of Canyon Drive (Brush Canyon is the name of the trailhead). The address is 3200 Canyon Drive, Los Angeles
Would recommend meeting at trailhead at 8:30 , do try to be on time as Friday is sure to be a busy day for all of us and we don't want to rush anything. As noted previously distance is 6 mi round trip about 1000 ft elevation gain. you do not need to be in stellar shape for this but do have to be ready to walk and get some exercise. Would rate this as moderate hike. You can do it ! and will be great sense of accomplishment and you can pig out at the tailgate and not feel guilty haha.
This is an extremely popular hike since its literally in the middle of the city, so there will be others but I've only done it previously on Saturday or Sunday, never done it on a weekday so not sure how crowded it will be
Parking is available but limited right at the trailhead . you can find street parking (its a nice residential neighborhood so you'll be safe) but then you'll have to walk a little extra to get to the trailhead so doing an Uber might be the best way.
needed: sunscreen, water (bring more than you think, have at least 1 Liter) any snacks for the top . wear your RU gear. small backpack useful . Sneakers are fine for this hike, it mostly a wide dirt track and near the Hollywood sign it becomes a paved road. no climbing or scrambling at all.
I will be at the trailhead and will make sure I'm easily visible. I'm very handsome so look for that
My lovely wife (RU fan by proxy) will also be there.weather wise this is like the best time of year in LA so if we have crappy weather it will be an oddity. Will probably need a light jacket at most
Hopefully we can have a nice turnout but even if just one person shows its cool it will still be fun.

Wife and I. Arrive Thursday evening. Open Friday so far. Friday night we will be looking for an upset!
Me and my wife arrive Thursday come back Tuesday and we are also going to Game two of the series. Im so excited about Yankees Dodgers and tons of good food and drink this trip.
Pretty epic weekend. Throw in a stop at the comedy store and that would be an all timer for me

Flying out with my wife Friday. Meeting my Navy son who is driving from Norfolk to LA to go to game and then driving down to San Diego on Saturday to stay on Coronado Island for a couple days. Should be good trip.

That's me. Staying in a VRBO in Studio City- planning on a 40 minute METRO ride with a switch of trains. Get the METRO TAP app on your phone.
Probably Metro from Santa Monica to the game. Maybe return too if we can't get a cab or Uber.
Light rail line from Santa Monica & the same coming back . I checked....they add extra cars on game day.

On a flight to LA as I write this 1st time I am using the wifi on a plane
The speed is about 40 percent of 4G/5G. The lag is noticeable. Staying downtown in LA across from the place where the Lakers and kings play. It's a new hotel with those trendy roof top bars like 8 on the 8th floor and another way higher up. It's a 3 stop metro light rail rise to the game in Friday 10 to 15 minutes.

Leaving tomorrow afternoon with the Mrs. The hike will be a game time decision as it will likely depend on how much fun we have Thursday night. Is there an official or unofficial tailgate? Any Thursday night activities?
Looks like the preliminary indications look like 33 tap or tap house downtown in LA for me and couple of others. Both near the Lakers arena and tap house is a part of LA live complex. Will be at one of these tonight which is Wednesday and back multiple times during the trip
Heading out from PHX tomorrow evening meeting a buddy who lives in OC. Will be there.
Will likely hit up the Kings game on Thursday night after a trip on rails down to Santa Monica during the day for brunch and Tap 33 for a knight cap after the hockey game Friday will likely to try and crash a tailgate at USC And a campus walk and/or take an afternoon nap.also staying at the AC downtown
