OU Football leaving for the SEC without a HC..... #BRUTAL

Curious who they will seek to hire to replace Riley, who was earlier rumored to be interested in LSU, but the boosters of USC came up with the biggest steal! Im sure Riley prefers the LA lifestyle compared to Baton Rouge, and far easier competition in the PAC12 too... HILARIOUS!

USC Hires Lincoln Riley
OU Hires Mark Stoops
Kentucky Hires ??????
I think Riley saw the writing on the wall. Oklahoma in the big 12 is competing for a conference championship every year. In the sec its maybe once every 5 years. Most of the Oklahoma teams over the last decade would have been 8-4 in sec play. The only exception would have been Mayfield's senior year. Going to USC allows him to maintain the situation he has become accustomed to over the last 5 years. Oregon is probably the only team on most years that will present a serious road block for them.

Welcome to the SEC OU, hope it’s fun counting money while your program powders Bama’s balls for the rest of eternity

Oklahoma will become a LSU of the SEC. big time team once every ten or so years. Texas will become an ole miss or Arkansas. Never really relevant but every 20 or so years.

Oklahoma is not going to be able to compete with the SEC NIL money. Oklahoma will be the new Texas and the big 12 when they join the SEC

Lincolns going to a terrible conference, only better than the ACC, and will be good.

There’s a reason the SEC is a graveyard for coaches outside of Tuscaloosa. You have what, 10ish schools that expect the world and the reality is no one is ever going to consistently beat Bama in the SEC so long as Saban is there. You have Saban, a hundred miles of ****, Kirby Smart, and a lunatic Cajun that caught lightning in a bottle who is heading out… after that it’s a bunch of JAGs that would be much better served coaching in a different conference to make a name for themselves.
