What a game. It's a great day if your a USC fan. Sam Darnold is a good QB and only a freshman.

For a USC game, not a lot of "Conquest". Penn State has a legit beef in re OSU getting into the CFP.

I don't see Clemson defense playing like USC did therefore you are comparing two different scenarios. True Ohio State didn't score but please think Penn State would have been able to do the same thing against Clemson.

The reason I remembered the date without having to look it up was because my younger son was a sophomore in HS and was a Longhorn fan. A bunch of his friends wanted to bet him that USC would win. So, he covered ten bets from them for $10.00 each and took Texas even up. That game went pretty late and I fell asleep early in the 4th Qtr.

I didn't even know he made the bets till the next morning when he happily told me. He said when Vince Young scored that last TD he had to contain himself so he wouldn't wake the whole house up. I saw a replay of it at a later date and it really was a great game.

Really it was a great game just wish SC would of won.
