is the fact that they are starting a true Fr. QB. He has 9 TD passes and 6 INT's, which is pretty good for a Fr., but he isn't good enough to bring them from behind and beat some teams with his arm like Carson, Leinart, Booty, or Sanchez. I think he will be though.

They're at 12 now.. look at the number of slots available though.. you have the NC game which is probably SEC champ against Texas (Big 12). Then you have the Big 10 (Iowa), Big East (Cincy), Pac-10 (Oregon), and ACC (GT perhaps). You still have 4 at-large spots.. the SEC runner-up will get one, the highest ranked non-BCS team will get one (TCU probably).. then you have 10-2 USC, probably one-loss Penn State, and Boise State are the other contenders.. I just don't see them passing over SC for Boise State (or even Penn St for that matter)
