From all I've read and heard these guys love Pope and are in it for the long haul. Sure could always be 1 that does something weird. But these aren't the prima donna high ranked guys we're use to. I think their happy to be here and everyones playing.

Noah - 100%
Perry - 100%
Chandler - 90%
Oweh - 90%
Kriissa - 90%-if redshirt
Almonor - 100% if he is eligible
Garrison - 80%

I think everyone with eligibility is more likely than not to return.

I could see Chandler going closer to home but figure he is inclined to continue the journey here.

I guess Oweh could catch fire and go pro but I think he is back without question as of today.

Didn’t Pope already say that Kriisa is eligible for a medical redshirt?

He only played 9 games, so that meets the NCAA requirement. I don’t see how they could deny him, if he doesn’t play anymore this year.
Why would we want Kriisa back? I mean if we don’t have a better pg tandem next year than this one we will struggle big time. Every place he’s been he’s been a distraction. Pope definitely overhyped him

Oweh: 15%
Almonor:50% if he takes a 5th year
Kerr: 80% (maybe he decides he’s ready to head home to Estonia and play professionally…maybe he wants 1 full year of Kentucky?? Who knows)

The rest should be back
I didn’t think AA could have another year but you definitely keep him if he can.

KSR dropped a quick nugget today that Kerr might end up at St. John’s

I’m expecting all of them that can return do. Coach talked about continuity being a factor in his recruiting approach and until I see otherwise I’m expecting a lot of returners.
Plus I suspect that we sweeten the NIL deals on each to entice them to stay together.

Kerr is eligible for a medical redshirt and I personally suspect he gets it

I’d love to have Oweh back. May just be gun shy after the Cal era to say he for sure comes back with how much consistency he’s shown this year. Last I looked, he’s projected 2nd round.
I haven’t seen Oweh projected on ANY draft boards.

Word on the street my big blue friend
Don’t believe it
I know what kind of people are on the street
His best chance to make NBA is right where he’s at
He has decent handles
He has shown ability to hit a 3
He plays with a lot of energy
He’s made some incredible passes (one in the Vandy game)
He just needs to add some muscle and get better defensively. No reason he can’t do just that.

If Collin decides to pursue basketball in his future, she won't be living in Utah unless he gets picked by the Jazz.
I'm sure she knows basketball is part of the deal in being married to him.

I think this years injury bug shows you take KK back if he wants to be here. roster needs to be full next year. 15 schollies.
I don't care what the new rule is, you're not going to have 15 on scholly that can actually play.
You may have 15 with Walker, Zack, etc.
12 is plenty but 13 should be max.

He played in 7 or 8 games before getting hurt. I don't think that's much of a body of work to put that kind of label on him. from all we've seen he's been nothing but a model teammate, even through the injury. He's on the bench every game, hyping up his teammates and celebrating big plays. He seems to enjoy being here and being a part of this program, so I would welcome him back in a heartbeat.

he's not a super senior like the others. This is his fourth year, but he was outside that window for the Covid exemption so this is his last year unless they change the rules which is unlikely at this point. Sucks, because he could be a huge piece to the puzzle next year.

Honestly, we complain all the time about not having guards that can beat their man off the bounce, or create their own shots.
We said KK wasn't capable of doing that and while Pope's system doesn’t fully rely on that, you do need your pg to go get you a bucket when the game is on the line.
If you tell me KK is good enough to do that, then lets go, if not, let him go where he wants to go and let's go get a couple guys that can create for themselves, or someone else.

Never too early for a fan to wonder about next season.
What (realistically, not just hoping) do you think are the odds of each player returning NEXT season to Kentucky?

Oweh
Garrison
Chandler
Noah
Perry
Almonor
Kriissa

Just thoughts to kick around...and yes, the transfer portal definitely is a big player in all this.
I think they all should come back, and want Oweh the most but the season he’s had might put him into the 2nd round so 🤷🤷!
If he had another year with Pope to work on the consistency with his jumper then the possibility's to move up to late first round!

Arizona final 4 is a distraction? Last year at WVU he had no one around him. He had to take the shots. Not sure I agree with this. Against Duke we lose the game without his guts and such. We have lost 2 or 3 just because he was not on the court this year.

For my part I'm pretty sure Noah returns.
Without a great outside game I don't think Oweh will be a high draft, and he seems to like it here.
Perry...I think he is about 75%... he may want to look at a mid major for his skill set to develop. Up to him and family.
I hope Chandler stays but I think there is a whole bunch of stuff going on there....his comments about frustration were both honest and troubling.....just from what I've seen/ picked up I think he's 1/3 back, 1/3 transfer to someplace in Utah and 1/3 done with basketball and finding a different life.
Garrison I think is just where the money is. I can't really say that he impresses me as being REAL serious about developing his game...whatever that is. I'd lean to 40% back.

Kerr would be fun to have back, but it wouldn't shock me to see him in the portal. It's the money, and with his injuries maybe it should be. I'd put him a coin toss.

Almonor of course I'd love to see back but the NCAA....whatever part exists isn't going for that.

Gonna be an off season ranging somewhere twixt intriguing and frustrating.

One thing for sure...Mark Pope ain't pushing anyone out the door for the next level.

How can you say he was over hyped..........he's been hurt
Never heard of him being a distraction @ Arizona or West Virginia, and @ UK he has been a vocal leader since his injury

You know who really doesn’t like Kriisa?

The fans of teams that play against Kriisa.

Why?

He’s a master class trash talker.

Now I don’t want him as our number one PG, but if he wants to come back in the same role he was in this season, as a backup, then I am all for it.
