Dakota got all of that pitch! How often do I tune in to a game to see our batter perform the same old swing and miss to end in the inning. I'm probably exaggerating, but I would like to see how many times we watch strike three go across the plate.

We’ve played 13 games, so that might be tough.

I sure hope they are turning things around but hell they beat USM last season. USM was a good team. State is going to have to prove to me they can win in the SEC. Sun Belt mid-week is one thing, but SEC weekend is another.

Programs like USM generally are very top heavy. Their 7-8-9-10 pitcher just arent going to better than a power 5s 7-10.

Glad we won, but as i stated before the game, this is a mid week game. We have to show we can show up on a 3 day weekend and play consistant enough good baseball, to win a series.

Parker making a huge difference with our pitching staff. We shut out USM the final 8 innings to win the game last night 5-4 using multiple pitchers. NO WAY that would have happened last year. If our offense doesn't get going we will still struggle mightily in SEC play but our pitching staff under Parker actually is a bright spot so far.
