State of Texas is pretty big..TSU is a very large university with a lot of moolah...but doesn't get much press.

Texas State is going to the new PAC 12 next year. I believe Louisiana Tech is replacing them in the Fun Belt

That is correct. Texas State will be in the new Pac-12 (which will have 8 football teams) next year. Fun fact: all 8 football playing schools in the new Pac-12 will be a “State” school.
