Damn this has been one helluva game! Anyone who says soccer is boring is full of ****. This has been far more exciting than any NFL game I've watched in the last decade!
Well the fans have been clamor king for Nagbe/Pulisic for a while now. I think they'll almost have to play next time.
I think pulisic for sure. Zusi for bedoya. Not sure which way Klinsmann will go with Jones sub. Id think about moving Johnson there and run Besler/Yedlin at Backs.
Venezuela is playing very well. Want to see how Argentina handles them.

Really enjoyable game to watch. Again USA had to grind it out at the end.

imp:Italy IMO through the first two games has been the best team in the Euro's.....they defend so well.
Tough call in terms of who you start for the US. My guess is they'll start Yedlin, move Fabian Johnson the midfield, start Zusi in place of Jones, and Nagbe in place of Wood. I'd much rather see Nagbe or Pulisic instead of Wondo. I think Pulisic definitely gets in the game though.

- There is no extra time in the quarters or semifinals - so it would have gone straight to PKs if it were tied.
- There is extra time in the finals and if that happens, each team gets a 4th sub.
- There is a 3rd place game so the US is guaranteed 2 more matches. 3rd place game is in Glendale and the final is in E Rutherford, NJ.
- Unless they overturn Jones' red card, he's suspended for 3 games for a straight red, so he's done.

Argentina on that attack is just so fluid....it's ridiculous their build up play and how accurate they are as well. They definitely are the best team in the world.

I'm.not sure how you try and play Argentina...you are playing with fire if you choose to just defend the entire time and pressing them is gonna be hard as hell with the ball skills every player has...
You have to be very physical and hope the cards arent flying that day. Can not give those skill guys time on the ball. Not gonna defend one on one with consistant success so bring that 2nd guy in to help, ala Ecuador match.

We don't have much of a chance with them, especially missing Jones and Wood, but it'll be a good test and pretty excited to see if we can keep it close.
Best part is seeing the Mexico fans pissed off throwing debris onto the field lol...
