Rooftop game viewing -- binoculars required. Is there an update? They announced something on that a couple years ago, not long before/after we announced our "plans" for the development near WB (which has apparently stalled out). I think the UT plans called for a stadium-adjacent hotel with rooftop shopping and all kinds of stuff.
Sad reality. The actual game is secondary for many people. Blew my mind when MLB stadiums had to start adding "attractions" inside the stadium.Rooftop game viewing -- binoculars required.
I've been saying Carolina football is like "a day at the races" for a lot of fans (the Cockabooses exemplify that aspect IMHO). They are there primarily to drink and socialize with friends while a football game is being played below. Us being good would spoil all that by making people want to pay attention to the game. You been to a Carolina game recently? Its like going to a social event where most people there are experiencing it for the first time. Kids laying around everywhere in the upper deck. Adults getting tanked in the stadium and acting like they've never been to a football game ever. I know I'm old fashion and I'll be seeing myself out the door after next year, but the crowd that only cares about the social aspect of the game is going to be the down fall.
