I have a buddy in CT, that has come to loathe UT during the regionals. I’m not sure why. But we know it’s deserved.
But you have to know RockyTop is already butt hurt knowing their coach is leaving them, going to the team they’re playing.

I was just thinking, I wonder what the tried and true TN baseball fans think about these bandwagon fans that know little about college baseball that have come aboard because the team is actually good for the first time long time? Glad to have them or wondering where the hell they came from. I mean I do truly respect the Vol baseball fans that can name four players from as far back as four years ago... but it’s got to only be like 450 of them.

Tennessee fans are universally known to be among the worst in the conference. We lose sight of it not so much because they're hidden in the hills, but because their football program has been a dumpster fire for a decade.

And they are going to Omaha with enough talent to do something Our Dawgs have yet to do! Once State beats Texas and faces them we will need to pitch very smart to them. They eat fast balls and hanging off speed pitches for lunch. They were built for the long ball. And many of these bombs they have hit today would have been out in Omaha, so we cannot say TD Ameritrade will hold their big flies. If the wind is blowing in every game they play, somebody has a chance to beat them.

Vol fans are all over the interwebs saying that when they get their stadium redone, it will make DNF look like a low rent little league field. That they will dwarf our attendance records. How many of these asswipes even knew they had a baseball team a year ago?

From my experience, your average Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee fan doesn't even know that their schools HAVE baseball teams.

That’s really undeserved. I don’t blame their fans for being excited and cocky given how well their team has played. I think their fan base has been humbled and like to celebrate when they are doing well in a sport. I’m surrounded by UT fans and they’re great people. I’m not sure how they’re getting the reputation that Alabama fans have earned.
