1. They converted one of the "Volunteer Navy" boats into a casino.
2. He can find one of these beauties in a retina-scorching UT orange motif (call Bruce Pearl's tailor)

they just don't care about baseball. They have a good program- they could be up there with the elite teams in the SEC with the right coach.

I hear UT is expected to really shell out some cash for their new baseball coach. They seem to think they can get Dave Van Horn from Ark even though he is an Ark alumni. I don't believe it, but that's the name they're throwing around.

I would make a run at Tim Corbin at Vanderbilt, if I was them though.

Pat Murphy has too much baggage- and UT's baseball program got hit with some sanctions not too long ago.

If I were them I would also talk to Brian O'Conner- he may not want to be in the same conference as Paul Manieri, but since UT is in the East, he may relent- especially if the money is there.

I'd also talk to Brian Shoop at UAB.

The football and basketball programs are both facing sanctions. He firednational championship winning coach Phil Fulmer andhired Lane Kiffin, who made the UT football team a laughingstock and then bolted after one year, then hehiredthe underwhelming Derek Dooley.Hamilton also fired Rod Delmonico, who took UT to multiple College World Series and hired a guy no one had ever heard of, who quickly put UT baseball in the toilet. Hamilton is pretty quickly destroying almost every major men's sport at Tennessee. </p>

private schools have a real advantage in college baseball because of the way scholarships get divided up. Private schools can wave tuition for a baseball player and let him essentially get an entire scholarship, yet it only counts as a fraction on the baseball team's 'books'.

Anyway, point being it'd be foolish for Corbin to leave unless they basically double his salary.

what the NCAA will let some schools get away with- and the NCAA is OK with it- as far as baseball scholarships are concerned.
