Filed a complaint for him to lose his tax exempt status, notified several "sponsors" their franchise names were being used without their knowledge.

Bump. We all should remember this, including free sites like this one and Coach34's. Anybody can be corrupted. All of you who pay for Gene's and Rosebowl's **** should at minimum voice your complaints about it.

tell me if I am wrong on this:

To me, Devinner had tons of information/proof on several SEC schools trying to obtain his athletes. We trusted him, and we shouldn't have. he used that information to get us when any of the ones he dealt with could have been gotten because we were the smallest and weakest fish of the bunch. Or he just had zero loyalty to us. UT, UGA, probably Ole Miss, and maybe some others. I assume what kept Ole Miss out of the light was the Tuohys relationship with him. So he turned on us when it any number of other universities were doing many of the same things.

Is that correct in a nutshell?

The weekend after he went public naming names and running his mouth in the media - he wast tweeting from the Grove about how great Ole Miss is and Leanne Touhy 'liked' his FB page. She and her Blind Side celebrity buddies all tied to Hugh Freeze (who pawned Michael Oher to Ole Miss to become an Ole Miss assistant) surely give DeVinner the attention he sough and they played him like a violin. Just as they used Brassell and Dr Summers for their purposes. They're smart with manipulation for sure.
