More than you would ever want to know about Urban Meyers Spread Offense from 2003 and 2004 game footage.
Credit to Bulldog Backer, sorry had to steal it from ya.

Someone spent a shitload of time breaking down game film to put this together,
so hear is a true glimpse of possible some of the MSU Offense.

QB snaps & drops back, too short to see coverage, throws ball into stands. Hopefully the stands.

or

QB snaps & runs vigorously to nearest end of field, hopes no-one obstructs view, aims low and throws ball at nearest receiver his arm can reach.

or

QB snaps & drops back 15 yards until DL is too far away to catch, throws ball to RB that is 8 yards behind line, RB runs like crazy to get back to line.

...I found it very interesting. Since we are implementing the spread, I figured I should study up on it. Thanks for bringing it over.

For a cool way to look at it.. anyone can play with Florida offense with States team on there aha i know way different but i tried their playbook as soon as the news broke we got Mullen and im telling ya its alot of fun but i have a hard time playing with it.. takes time getting used too but im not doubting what Mullen will do in real life on the field just a cool way of being hands on.

(1) I was driving against Oklahoma with 20 seconds left, gave it to dixon to line a field goal, FUMBLE! Oklahoma ran it back 92 yards. National Championship Freakin game.
(2) I was in OT against Georgia, they tip my pass and take it back 90 yards.
(3) Tied against LSU, they hit a home run with 3 seconds left.

Carroll is a pick machine and Dixon fumbles at least 2 times per game in this game. In the last quarter, the opposing WRs all become Jerry Rice. With the way I have lost in the last play of big games I think EA-Sports confused MSU with Vanderbilt. Another thing, they messed up South Carolina's stadium and gave them Scott Field. Interesting, John Parker Wilson is a little ***** in this game...just like in real life.

...like coach34 & a bunch of other people who post here, but when I studied several of those plays it appears there is a lot on emphasis on a QB who can run the option.

Which would mean, I speculate, we will see Tyler Russell & Bumphis (or a Bumphis type athlete) having almost equal duties @ QB?

with Russell playing the Chris Leak role and getting 3/4 of the snaps and a running QB getting about 1/4.</p>

Great, now our playbook is one the Internet. We are MSU. (sarcasm)
After studying those plays, our playbook is also a part of every flag football team playbook in America.

I didn't realize the Spread is so simple.

I also didn't realize the blocking assignments for the OL are so uncomplicated.

The time for the "our offense is too complicated" excuse is over.

Finally our players don't have to earn a Ph.D. in "The Esoteric Schemes of Bill Walsh" & can just line up & play football.
