Do they have a good reason for firing the vets? Or am I misunderstanding this? They are laying off veterans to help support veterans that's my understandingThe majority are vets -

That's my question and are they laying off vets is the other. If they are laying vets off to save money to help vets that wouldn't make sense. Not everyone who works at the VA is a Veteran.

I don't mind cutting if cuts are needed , I'm all for it . But cutting vets is counter productive. Maybe the only job they can do and working is more than money for those men/women.It does if they weren't taking care of Veterans that needed the medical attention to start with. He listed things he was cutting. Listen and follow his work.

If a government employee is being paid taxpayer dollars and that job position is unnecessary, the position should be cancelled and the employee terminated. Whether the employee is a veteran or not is irrelevant.I don't mind cutting if cuts are needed , I'm all for it . But cutting vets is counter productive. If this was a USAID employee, we wouldn't care if the employee was a veteran. I see no difference.
