I know $ rules the world but did anyone on here feel the coverage and conversations about VA HS football benefitted from the change? I personally learned less, engaged less, and enjoyed less as a result.

It’s been amazing. While only yourself and about 7 other anons have posted here all fall, I have really been able to see some fierce debate regarding the whereabouts of Travis turner, and maybe something else too! I really love posts like the one earlier asking what is the best game you saw in 2025 and five people responded. That means almost all 8 people posting on here actually went to a high school football game this fall! That’s a pretty high percentage!
I totally agree! I don't see the overall coverage of Virginia high school sports as previously seen before. There is no Virginiapreps classic this year that Matt sponsored previously and no overall talk or commentary of the other tournaments in the Hampton Roads area or the rest of the state. The only information about the state of Virginia athletics is from the loyal personel that regularly post on this site. The sports writers that supported Virginiapreps in all areas of the state are not as active as the past years. Unfortunately, money rules the world and nothing stays the same forever.

I prefer the classifications have their own dedicated forum like VA Preps did rather than everyone lumped together. It’s all muddled up together and not very user friendly.
