Vando coming into his own and stopped pressing so hard has been to this team what MKG was to the 2012 team. With his hustle, passing, enthusiasm, it has been infectious, and the whole team has a different attitude. Also, kudos to Cal to realize and finally find the right combination on the floor.

I have said it before, but will say it again, Cal is the best at taking young men with huge egos and melting them into a team, he gets the ME out them and makes the ME become TEAM. There is no other coach close to Cal in this regard.

I think had he been healthy all of this year we’d have probably 4-5 losses instead of 9. Even when he doesn’t score just the way he can get you constant 2nd chance opportunities on the offensive glass is huge.

A huge part has been our 3pt shooting.. its opened up the lane and near the basket for Vando to do his thing these last two games.

Guys have also been giving full effort the last 3 games... that helps too

Three point shooting is a difference maker. If we can hit them from now on the way we have the past three games we are going to be hard to handle. Teams are going to figure out they have to come guard our 3 point shot which spreads the floor. Green can pass the ball and our bigs are going to go to work underneath. It is a pretty sight to see

Dude rebounds so far out of his area that I think he gets a few rebounds from other games. 15!!! Haven’t seen a guy who can rebound like this since Randle.

The kid runs the floor. He fights for rebounds. He sees the floor. He celebrates when his teammates do well.

He’s my favorite player to watch. Plays harder than anyone and is starting to settle into scoring and major contributions. He’s a worker.

He is a rebounding machine - which we needed. To me, his shot is subject - but is such an animal he should just go for the dunk every single time

I've not watched a ton of non-UK CBB this year. But is there a more talented, instant energy 6th man in the country right now?

The guy eats the glass and is relentless. You can tell how pissed off he is when he doesn't bring one in. Love it!!!

I can’t disagree with anything in this post. If Vanderbilt was available from the start of the season, this team would be playing for a one seed in the NCAA tournament.
