i find it hilarious we pick up Vandy as a permanent opponent right when they start caring about football. We truly are cursed man
Yep. They were Ole Miss' permanent opponent for many years when they absolutely sucked. Now, as soon as we pick them up as a permanent opponent, they start caring about football. The Indians truly hate us.
ETA: After reading that article, the thing that stands out to me is that the quarterback has an agent! The guy is in high school and has an agent. Times have truly changed.
Did you notice that the article has quotes from Curtis’s agent? For whatever reason, I hadn’t thought about high school players having an agent. I guess that is a growth area in the agent world. The contract sizes are growing and they get to have a new contract every year if they change schools. Seems lucrative.
Wonder how this plays in the locker room since Pavia is only a 5th year sophomore. He's only got like 7 more years until he gets his pension.
I suppose he's trying to get 5 years of eligibility for JUCOs that have already played 2 years of college, essentially making JUCOs the minor league for the next level minor league.
We also picked a helluva year to lose Auburn, LSU, and UK off the schedule.

No way to tell how much they are raising since they don't have to report it to anybody. Probably a lot since they have many billions in endowments.
