If he gets anywhere near the money Franklin was making, he would be crazy to turn it down. Most MSU fans and Stricklin seem to be satisfied with mediocrity so the MSU job won't be open anytime soon

I have a good vandy friend that's always in the know over there. He rattled off few guys I wasn't familiar with. The oc at Clemson, Mason at Stanford and Mike McIntyre...he said HUD is def on the list but not near the top.

HUD just doesn't seem like a vandy guy.

Hudspeth seems a little too blue collar for Vandy, but they've had some before that met that criteria

No way Mike McIntyre leaves Colorado for Vandy.

I hope McIntyre stays, but Vandy pays more - a lot more. Vandy has better material at the time. Neither has the facilities to match others in their respective leagues, but probably CO has the edge on Vandy from what I have seen. I just wouldn't say "no way...Mike leaves".

I am convinced that coaches look closely at rosters when making decisions. Franklin saw how much talent was graduating and that his team would be taking a step back this year making this a prime time for him to jump. That's why his assistant coaches were following the recruits of several schools on twitter prior to being even interviewed for jobs. Incoming coaches will look at that too. Don't forget Malzahn turned their huge offer when he was still an oc at au. Franklin was great but he got lucky w/ UF and UT being down and UGA injuries. That job will be much tougher in '14.
