I don't think Belk Bowl over Music City Bowl or whatever our bowl fate makes a huge difference. Seeing Tennessee lose will be nice and it's looking like it'll happen.
We played very very bad defense. If I recall didn't we lose our best receiver and our emotional leader Jordan Jones in the first quarter of that game. We actually owned them on the stat sheet but ended up kicking field goals instead of touchdowns.
Per the unofficial ESPN Box score, Vandy now has 589 yards of offense against the Vols. Incredible.
Losing to Vandy may cost Butch his job. Even if he did win the Life Championship this year.
I'm guessing living that close to road cone orange creates a rage that gives the Dores the strength of 10 men.
Us and Mizzou did the same to them. Vandy's made just enough plays on defense whereas we did not to a comical level.
I never root for Tennessee. Their in the same class as UofL, CLASSLESS.

We scored enough points to win. We moved the ball on them all day long. One player didn't make that much of a difference.

I doubt it but there are PLENTY in Tennessee who want to see him gone. Honestly though I'm not sure Tennessee can afford to fire him, they've fired so many coaches in the last 8 years in basketball and football they're still writing checks to people who don't even work there anymore.
Vandy will hold on and will not be picked over us in any bowl (surely)

Its kind of funny thinking there were many UK fans who wanted Butch over Stoops. I wonder how most of those folks feel now.
The guy went 8-4 this year. That's not terrible, but considering they were top 10 to start the year, this is a huge disappointment. Beating Florida might have saved him for another year, but he's definitely on the hot seat.
Happy for Vandy and for us. The times are changing in the SEC.
The hilarious thing is that Jones hired this defensive coordinator this season and UT fans were like head over heels excited about him and even more so after the Florida win. Now they've given up almost 600 yards to Vanderbilt to end the regular season.
